In this one week workshop with Edgar Walthert I learned to extract different alphabets from forms in a very short time. The results were created in the font editing software Glyphs and then uploaded to a website, where the variability of these could be tested. As you can see below, I created one font from cut tree trunks and one from three basic shapes. The result was a font that fits very well into space.
